BattleGrid Champions is an Online Tabletop Card Game

First off its not like your typical online Card Game where you have to dump a bunch of money into digital cards to play the game. No, instead it's a free to play, earn your cards by playing, type of card game. 

In BattleGrid Champions you will command Champions;

(like one or more of these guys)

Each with one or more abilities that you can use during the game to take the advantage or drive your strategy home. 


At the start of each game you and your opponent will Roll


After the Roll the winner will pick to Drafts First or Battle First


Once the Winner has selected you will Draft Champions in a Round Robin 



Once the drafting is done you'll select the Deck you want to use for the Battle


After both players select their Deck the Battle Scene will load...

...  and the Battle is about to Begin!

Install instructions

Notes:
  • Game requires 2 players to play at this time
    • so grab a friend and dive in!
  • Windows/Linux/Mac Supported
  • Note: that the Mac support is still in the early stages
    • please download and give feedback
  • the game will currently scale to 1920x1080p resolution
    •  as not all the UI is scaled and ready for different sizes yet
Instructions:
  • Download the zip
  • Extract the zip file to where you want to run the game
    • eg. C:\Games\BGC (Windows)
    • eg. /Users/username/Games/BGC (Mac)
    • eg. /home/username/Games/BGC (Linux)
  • from that location open the BattleGrid Champions executable to play
    • .exe for Windows
    • .app for Mac
      • Note: you may need to CTRL + Left Click then select Open
        • this should show a prompt where you will need to click Open
    • .x86_64 for Linux
      • Note: you will need to set the file as executable 
        • chmod +x <filename>
  • You will need to signup or login once you've started the game
  • Your first login will grant you 1,200 GCoins
  • Use these coins in the Store to buy Packs and build your collection
  • Use cards in your collection to build a Deck with the Deck Builder
    • don't be too worried about your deck, it will evolve as you learn the game
  • Once you have a deck ready you are ready to Battle!
  • Grab your Friend and Start a New Game
  • Once the Game has started, if your Friend clicks the New Game menu
    • the game will appear
  • Clicking on a game in the New Game area will Join that game
